How are API requests calculated?
Each HTTP request that points to a function is counted as one request. Usually, that's a call to your functions, like the API, or the Files service to retrieve a file. Functions are identified as all requests on a /function/ path. For example like /function/api which is the path for the default Webiny Core API. When it comes to files. All requests that are on the /files/ path might hit a lambda function. We say "might" because responses from those requests have several layers of cach
What happens if I go above the package limits?
If an extra usage package is available, your requests will be served without any interruptions. In case an extra usage package is not available, all requests will be denied, including the ones for static assets.
Do extra packages expire?
Extra packages do not expire. For example, say you bought an extra package and used only half of the API requests before your paid package renewed. The system will automatically transfer the remainder of your extra package allowance to the next month.
What are the serverless function specifications?
Lambdas we run for the managed hosted environment by default have 256MB of RAM and are placed inside a VPC with a NAT gateway, so they have external internet access.
Can I limit the extra usage packages?
Yes, you can. In your Site Manager you can define the maximum amount of extra packages a website can consume.
